What shipping services are offered?

  • DHL Economy Shipping (Italy)
    Totally free if the order reaches the minimum amount of 800€. Economy shipping takes approximately 3-4 business days for delivery to Italy and is an uninsured service.
  • DHL Standard Shipping (Italy)
    Has a fixed cost of €7.99 and is valid on the entire catalog. Standard shipping takes about 3 working days for delivery to the peninsula. You can also select the option including insurance at a total cost of 13.99€.
  • DHL Express Shipping (Italy)
    You can purchase express shipping for €16.99, regardless of product weight. This is an air shipping service, so it is faster, and takes about 2 working days for delivery to Italy. Insurance on the full value of the goods is also included in the cost of the service.
  • COD DHL (Italy)
    COD shipping has a cost of €20.00. This is the €16.99 express shipping service with the addition of the payment collection fee. This type of delivery involves cash payment to the courier and takes about 2 business days. Insurance on the contents is included.
  • DHL Economy Shipping (Europe & non-EU)
    This service has a fixed cost of €20.99 per order. It is a shipment handled by DHL's truck service and takes 3-5 business days. Insurance on the value of the contents is not included.
  • DHL Express Worldwide Shipping (Europe & non-EU)
    "DHL express worldwide" shipping has a fixed cost of €30.99 per order. It is an air shipment and takes 2-3 business days. Full value insurance service is included in the price.

Products in Pre-Order

Some products in our catalog are available on a "pre-order" basis. These devices are distinguishable from pre-orders because they are located within a special section on our website. The shipping service at checkout will indicate that delivery for these products is within 15 business days. The cost of this service is €19.99 and includes insurance for the full amount.


What is meant by working days?

Business days are Monday through Friday. For any shipping service, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are not considered business days and the delivery time is calculated from the day after the order is picked up.


What happens if I am not home on the delivery day?

The courier will try to contact you at the phone number entered in the order, and if you do not find an agreement, the package will be deposited at the nearest DHL center. In some cases a second delivery may be attempted if agreed upon by phone with the courier.


How can I cancel my order?

If the shipment has already left, you can still cancel the order. You will simply refuse the delivery by specifying to the courier that the package must return. From the moment the shipment arrives back at the location we will process the refund of your purchase.


How can I change the delivery address?

If your address is wrong but the destination's ZIP code is correct, you can independently contact DHL customer service and ask for the address to be corrected.
If the ZIP code is incorrect, contact Smart Generation customer service indicating the new information. We will be the ones to inform DHL of the change and will not charge you any additional fees on the delivery.

What happens if the package arrives damaged?

You must always sign for the delivery with "reserve control" to prevent any problems such as break-ins or shipping damage. If you have purchased a service including insurance, simply contact Smart Generation support by email within 24 hours of receipt attaching detailed photographs of the package and product. We will be responsible for opening a claim with DHL's insurance company to promptly obtain reimbursement for the damage.
You may ask us to intervene in repairing the fault, request a return or a free replacement with a similar product.
